Benefits of Shea Butter Being Explored on Osteoarthritis Sufferers

The benefits of shea butter extract in the treatment of osteoarthritis will be examined in a clinical trial by the Australian Centre for Complementary Medicine Education and Research (ACCMER).

Here's a followup to an article posted in mid March regarding how the Australians are studying the effects of shea butter on persons with osteoarthritis.

The article has some interesting statistics, including this one:

"Osteoarthritis is second only to ischemic heart disease as a cause of work
disability in men over 50 years of age."
