Shea Butter in the Winter... Shea Butter for the Feet
During the winter months, I could not live without my shea butter.
Some weekend mornings I have to be out the door by 5 a.m. and I always layer my skin with pure, unrefined African shea butter. I can feel the cold hit my face and try to get in, but the shea just repels it.
The other thing I wanted to mention is that shea butter works wonders on the feet too, when you use it.
A lot of times we get too busy in the shower during the week because we are running late or are out of time. So we neglect even taking the time to wash our feet, let alone putting a little shea around the heels to moisturize them when we get out.
That's the reason I recommend a once a week bath with a full body shea rubdown after emerging from your "bath then shower" regimen.
During this weekly rubdown, you can take a few extra minutes on your feet to truly moisturize and pamper them with a massage using the healing and protection properties of shea.
Yeah shea butter does work...but you gotta use it.
